This interesting instrument made by the Dorset organ builder Hallet, we believe sometime in the 1860s , housed in a painted classical case with guilded pipe facade.
We have included an interesting article on the life of Hallet by Mr M S Ross on the accompanying PDF:
As part of the sale the instrument will be completely restored and have our normal 10 year guarantee.
We realise the limitations of one manual instruments and so as to sympathetically add greater flexibility it would be possible to convert the organ into a 2 manual and pedal board instrument still retaining the classical proportions and the same footprint.
Please see below an artist impression of this:
Interested buyers are most welcome to view the instrument in our workshops Please feel free to contact us on or 07748 598860 to discuss options or organise a viewing.
